Local freight and logistics specialists, Mondiale are a global success and always looking for ways to improve efficiency.

Despite occupying a building that was less than 10 years old, our lighting energy audit proved that upgrading to Ecofluro® LEDs would deliver annual savings in excess of $18,000.

The key to a successful outcome was maintaining the original lighting design, with no change in layout or light fixtures, simply upgrading from fluorescent to Ecofluro®

Our study proved that if we replaced the existing fluorescent one for one, we would maintain light levels and uniformity to deliver a saving of more than 60%.

At 2,100lm the 20W Ecofluro® T8 LED was the perfect fit, ensuring light levels were maintained to the original specification.

The flexibility and options available in the Ecofluro® and our ability to match specification to the light fitting was critical.

The project which received support from the EECA has been met with great enthusiasm.

Post-implementation, Ecofluro ® has delivered the cost and energy savings predicted and staff are overwhelmingly supportive of the change.
